Come over for a visit, our meetings are social and fun! We meet on the third Tuesday of each month at the Cartersville Civic Center, located at 435 W Main St, Cartersville, GA 30120. After a quick drive through our charming downtown district, you'll find the civic center (with plenty of close parking) adjacent to our fantastic public library, nestled amoung some of Cartersville's best historic homes. 

 

Although festivities officially begin at 7pm, it would be great to meet you during our social time, beginning at 6:30pm. As a visitor, we'd like to notify you of a $5 guest fee- that will be applied toward your membership dues ($30 annually) if you decide to join that night. For your own comfort we also suggest you dress in layers as it's difficult to satisfy everyone with one thermostat.

 

We begin with a program/speaker for the evening. EVQG loves learning new techniques and we work hard to bring in wonderful educators and contemporary speakers. This is followed by our business meeting including announcements from our president and committee chairs.

 

Following the business meeting we have our show & tell portion of the evening. During show & tell we take a moment to appreciate the accomplishments of our members or share with the group a vintage piece of work. Be prepared to be WOWed! To send you off with a bang we finish with the fun of a door prize drawing. Upon arrival you should be given a ticket, typically the last 4 digits of that ticket will be used to tell you if you've won one of our fabulous door prizes for the evening.
